back! cant stand the heat man!
haha. oh well. jing! i'm gonna copy your format ok? if its not ok, too bad! haha.
day 1 (24.12.05)
set off for the airport at around 5++. checked in and found out that, that was considered day 1. oh well dont expect much from focal travel! took thai airways and so, had to stop over at thailand first before changing to another plane. some guy in our tour was like puking during the flight to thailand. :/ it wasnt even that bad. and my sis and i actually thought he was burping? so we were kinda insulting him all the way. haha. until he dropped the bag of puke onto the floor. thank goodness it didnt spill. haha. we even offered him the puke bag and some wet tissue. how nice of us! :D changed to another flight towards korea, seoul. turned christmas while on the flight. utter crap. wanted so much to have christmas in singapore. oh well. :)
day 2(25.12.05)
reached korea. wanted so much to go to the toilet to see the toilet bowl which at a press of a red button could change plastic bag on the seat itself. (from jing's explanation) cheyyy! was nothing la. its just a revolting plastic bag seat cover thingy. and it probably goes round and round everytime someone presses it. haha. lousy.
had to put on all the proper gear cos it was snowing slighty outside. so cool! and was really cool! man it wasnt exactly freezing. but it was really really cooling. :) haha. had a change of plans too. suposed to go to the everland theme park. but the gay kiang tour guide said it was a holiday and that it was gonna be very crowded. so, went off to daemyeong vivaldi park to ski! i dont even know how to pronunce it? haha. the people incharge of the gear lending were damn cute! haha. but we forgot to take pictures. shucks. but he was asking ME how old i was and where we were from. of all people me! i'm, honoured! but. aiya. cannot make it la. their english sucks. they couldnt even understand what we were saying. please. brush your english up man. and dont expect us to learn korean for you. especially when korean isnt an international language. but anw. back to skiing. the ang family were so natural in skiing! we got it like the first time we tried it! but only my sis, bro and i tried it. anywho, we were like veterans who hasnt skied in like forever! haha :D then we went up the most gentle slope there by ski-lift! was so fun coming down and all! almost bang into some korean kiddo and i had to fall to prevent myself from hitting him. sheesh. went to check in to the ski resort, winter sonata was shot in there? couldnt tell? haha. then went to eat and went to the so called underground shopping centre. ate ice-cream. haha. :P
oh yeah! the resort didnt have beds! and the heater was on the floor. so the sleeping area was the floor. but the floor was seriously warm and we even had to open the windows to cool the room. haha. temp was below 0 degree celcius btw. haha!
day3(26.12.05)
went to mt. sorak national park. went up by cable car. my ears were hurting like hell la. the pressure sucks up there. it doesnt have clear flowing streams, cascading waterfalls, dense forests, lush green valleys or towering granite peaks. the streams has turned into ice, couldnt see any waterfalls at all, the trees were all balding and everything was white. but the senery was nice. climbed all the way up. our faces turned red la. haha. and my hands were freezing!!! almost fell some more la. thanks alot.
also went to the shinhengsa temple. nothing nice about it la. typical temple. but with a biggie buddha outside.: boring!
went oto check into a similar hotel. had to sleep on the floor again! my back was aching la.
day4(27.12.05)
went to everland!!!! it was damn fun man! but the journey there by bus was damn damn long. anw. went to get the ticket there. everyone was entitled to 5 rides or whatever. and the first one was like wasted on some crappy safari world thingy la!! so idiotic! freaking tour guide! just to see some stupid liger thingy (lion-tiger). whatever! wasted our time and ride. oh well. went to play the snow games! haha. went sleding down a curved slope. and we can play it as many times as we wanted as long as we dont leave the place. but was so cold and the ice was like everywhere on our body cos we had ter put our legs in the front to brake making the snow fly directly onto our faces. crap! played all the other rides. fun fun fun!
went to myeongdong fashion street. everything's so expensive there! like (converted), a jacket cloth material like adidas but thinner, costs $100++. and its like some ooloo brand i've never heard of. ended up buying food stuff instead. like there's a deep fried sweet potato chips cut into strips. haha. dad didnt even let us stop to look at the other shops at the road side.
oh well. at least there were beds in the hotel. haha.
day5(28.12.05)
went to the fifa world cup 2002 stadium. boring! there's nothing there la. and there was snow on the field. totally not the place for someone who is the least bit interested in football/soccer. then to the kyongbok palace. they have some golden dragon built on the ceiling and from the front gate, cannot see the dragon la. its like built in such a way to prevent the china king from seeing it if he ever decides to go on a holiday to korea. and also to some hotel casino. thanks la. but the ang family doesnt gamble! so. none of us went in. and this couple with a kid just asked us to look after him and they went off into the casino la. hello? he's like only 6yrs old? how can they just leave him in another person's care without knowing the person or whatever? but we were like playing with him and all la. so. its ok. and he calls my brother little boy. haha. my bro's 13?
highlight of the day? lotte world! the world's largest indoor theme park with live entertainment, thrilling rides and attractions. the one stairway to heaven was shot in. the picture supposedly drawn by the brother in the show is really there la. looks damn cool. and the attractions was the merry-go-round horsey thingy la. please. so childish. chi. the queues were all so long la. and the freaking tour guide brought us to sit some crappy sindbad ride. sucks like hell again! please la. dont ever introduce us to any more rides. thou the rides were very detailed and all. nothing like escape theme park. there were like statues in the tunnels we had to go through. and everything was like moving, the so called snakes, cyclops, genie? haha. all the other rides were crazy. we had to queue like 1 hr for this phroah's fury ride, but also a very detailed ride. but it was less than 5 mins la! waste my time man! some rides were just plain crappy. but there was the giant loop ride where we just sit in the the thoingy and it just goes in loops. ate chajiangmian! expected it to be nicer. was ok la.but there were too much onions and peas. not much meat too.
stayed in the same hotel.
day6(29.12.05)
travelled to the airport towards bangkok. had so much fun in the plane cos we, people in the tour were getting closer and closer. played cards and called some guy uncle. haha. fun! had a stop over in hongkong. i love making fun of their accent! haha. and a correction to russell peter, the chinese do not speak that way. its the hongkies who do! do not ever categorise all chinese together. its insulting. went to thailand and continued playing in the bus. haha. like zhong ji mi mah! haha. zhong twice la. utter crap. haha.
checked in ourselves and then decided to go to china town in bangkok to eat namxing shark's fin and bird's nest! but have to say i didnt really enjoy it. for some reason, prefer the bottled bird's nest, brands! haha. ate the real deal at the road side shop. seafood was good man. mainly cos i wasnt peeling the prawns. haha. but the veg was spicy. think i ate a chilli padi. ass. then we went to the night market. to window shop. was loads of things to see man! and then there was some crappy concert. but we saw a cute thai guy dancing while the fat singer sang. haha. so good looking! from far! haha. went back to the hotel by tuktuk!! so cooling!
day7(30.12.05)
went with another group to the places of interest. the other people went to shop. so boring without them. and we went to the imitation floating market. and the gem factory. please. as if i'm interested in buying that. but anyway. went to shop. haha. high class people like us, went straight to the shopping centre! haha. and we even walked all the way back to the hotel which was like 20 mins away. but later went back to the night market and shop more! saw loads of furnitures and resolved to go there to shop for furniture! haha. it was really nice la. and there was like loads of earrings! all the type me and my sis were into! whoohoo!
day8(31.12.05)
had half a day left to shop. went to the other market. there were like much more stuff to see?! crap la.quickly walked around. bought a whole lotta earrings again. haha. and there was like a stretch where all the animals were sold! all the dogs and kittens and birds and even squirrels! so cute la. but sorry la. very can buy back only. tsk. so irritating! if only singapore animals' werent so expensive. oh well.
went to the airport and then into the airplane. reached sing at 8++p.m
the trip was fun fun fun!!! loved it so much!
