alright mannns! i just came back from 2 camps! well not exactly just. but still on the 6th-9th. hahhahah. trm camp 6th-7th went home. then another camp on the 8th-9th. cool right. the trm camp was supposed to be until the 8th. but i got exempted. cos SL camp more important. in case you were wondering. trm: tourism and resort management. and SL: student leader. trm's organised by year 2s. while the SL camp err. students? hahahh. ambassadors to be exact. but it was for all who are gna be involved in RED CAMP 5. exciting right! hahha. okay okay.
so trm camp was super weird. i went there with mixed emotions. i didnt want to go okay. never liked camps. esp those in like some ooloo (not pointing middle finger) part of singapore. it was held in changi coast? eewww! but it was really really interesting! and i found out that most people in trm are really nice. they're crazy and all. didnt know until i went to the camp. so happy i went. made new friends.
the first day went by quickly. cos there were the usual ice breaking games. then it was walking all the way to some weirded out place so we could enjoy the nonexistant sunset. hahhah. then it was the night walk. which was bloody freaky! we really tracked through the woods. apparently. the path was marked out only after the organisers went to walked the place a few times. they didnt allow us to bring torchlights in. and we were supposed to rely only on the light stick to show us the way. tsk! walked at like 9? and reached back to camp at 10 plus. hahahha. but it was interesting la! and there were food all over so i guess we would never get hungry! hahah.
oh! i didnt want to play the bloody water games at first. it's so lame... but we did "dragon boating" tiring i tell you! and there was rafting. which was kinda gay.. all we did was tie some stuff together. take another group's tied raft. carry it to the ocean. no make that drag! while it fell apart. hahhaha. then it started raining. and we just err. went back to bathe and change. until the rain stopped then they decided we could go back and continue with the high elements. where i met the people incharge! so funny. in charge of the flying fox. i happily called it firefox! hahahhah. embarrassing much. but anws. yeah. he was fooling ard. so was i. and he told us he went dragon boating all the way to batam before! wah lau ehhhh. crazy man. oh and aaron was like the "belayer"? no idea how to spell it. for the rock wall. he's good man.
then dinner was BBQ dinner. we could use the points we accumulated with during the 2 days. didnt buy much. and we won first prizeeeee! :,DDD wasnt there to let the triumph set in though. cheyyyy. sis came to pick me up from camp!
okay! then it was SL camp. emceeing is damn fun. although i kept NEXT-ing myself. hahha. cos i figured no one laughed. hahhha. okay. so roxanne and i came up with games like the morning of the camp! we played poko. err. variation of wacko. since we didnt have the materials! hahhhha. damn retard. but at least people felt it was fun!
aiyohhh. i tell you. the worst thing about being an emcee. not being able to join the group when cheering and all that. even when having like personalised tours and all. i have to make my way back like 10 mins before it finishes. which is like. duhhhh. so much for mingling with them. tsk. you cant be close to the people. you cant make an impact in their lives! that's so sad lar. tsk. oh wells. at least i had fun! :,DDDDD
